The role
Clyde & Co is seeking an Associate lawyer with 2-5 years of PQE to join their Energy & Projects team in Singapore. This role focuses on corporate and project development matters within the energy and natural resources sector, involving complex cross-border transactions and commercial arrangements.
What you'll do
- Advise energy and natural resources clients on complex cross-border projects, transactions and commercial arrangements
- Work on LNG, gas, power, mining and energy transition-related matters
- Be involved in large and complex corporate transactions and energy projects
- Participate in business development and client facing activities
What we're looking for
England & Wales qualified
2-5 years' post-qualification experience gained within an energy/projects background
Pragmatic and proactive mindset
Excellent legal drafting, research and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work as part of a team and build effective working relationships with clients, local counsel and colleagues
English (native) language proficiency
Willingness to relocate to Singapore for overseas candidates
Mandarin (good business level proficiency)· nice to have
