The role
Mason Hayes & Curran is seeking an Associate - Financial Regulation with 0-3 years of PQE to join their Regulatory practice in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves advising a variety of domestic and international financial institutions on Irish and EU financial services law and Central Bank requirements.
What you'll do
- Advise a range of financial services clients on all aspects of Central Bank and EU regulation
- Advise on M&A activity involving financial institutions
- Advise on Central Bank licencing applications
- Advise on scope of regulation matters
- Advise on on-going regulatory issues
- Advise on product launches
- Advise on Central Bank enforcement actions
What we're looking for
Qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland or England and Wales
Newly qualified to 3 years’ relevant experience
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
A keen interest in financial regulation
Excellent communication and research skills
A team player who can work with different teams and lawyers across the firm
Ambition to work in a growing, top tier international firm
