The role

Holland & Knight seeks a mid-level Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its Corporate, M&A and Securities practice. The role focuses on M&A and private equity transactions, supporting clients throughout the investment lifecycle.

What you'll do

Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle, including initial platform acquisitions, add-ons, portfolio company governance and exits

What we're looking for

2-5 years of experience

Emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions

Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements

Proficiency in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related documentation

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High degree of maturity and business sense

Ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships

Excellent academic credentials

Proven track record supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle· nice to have

Familiarity with middle-market deal structures· nice to have

Large national or international law firm experience· nice to have
