Principal Associate - Surety

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking an experienced Principal Associate in their Surety team, focusing on transactional finance within the Insurance and Projects practice areas. This senior role is based in London and requires a lawyer with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.

What you'll do

• Work on facility agreements
• Work on recourse arrangements
• Work on guarantee/ on demand bond wordings
• Work on security documentation
• Work on intercreditor arrangements
• Work on risk participation and sharing arrangements
• Co-ordinate with colleagues providing client support in customer distress/ restructuring scenarios
• Co-ordinate with colleagues when claims are made on guarantees and on-demand bonds issued by clients
• Spend time with clients, getting to know them and understanding their needs
