The role
Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Pro Bono Junior Lawyer for a 12-month contract role based in Perth, Australia. This position will involve working within the firm's Pro Bono practice, providing legal assistance to disadvantaged individuals and non-profit organisations.
What we're looking for
Admission as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia
Passion for pro bono and social justice
Experience working closely with social workers and support services
Methodical approach with high attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and effectively in plain English
Empathetic and thorough interpersonal and client care skills
Flexibility and willingness to adjust priorities or working hours
Good technical ability in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
