The role

Clyde & Co is seeking an Associate with a General Insurance (public/product liability) focus to join their Sydney office. This role is within the Insurance practice group and is suitable for lawyers with litigation experience.

What we're looking for

Experience working in private practice

Experience in litigation, public/product liability and/or general insurance/coverage claims

A solid general insurance background gained from a top tier private practice environment from either Australia or overseas

Precise, clear drafting skills

Strong academics

Self-driven, a 'can do' approach

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently

Commercial awareness and confidence in building rapport with clients

Ability to foster a positive team environment

Experience in civil claims related to abuse, including historic or institutional abuse-related matters· nice to have
