The role

Wotton Kearney is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Cyber, Data and Technology practice group in Sydney. This role is for an experienced lawyer to advise clients on high-profile cyber incidents, privacy breaches, and complex litigation within the technology risk space.

What you'll do

Lead clients through major cyber-attacks and data breaches locally and internationally
Advise on privacy compliance and technology liability risks
Defend complex litigation and manage cyber insurance claims
Use advanced cyber forensics including AI-backed PII reviews
Mentor junior lawyers and work as part of a collaborative team
Work across diverse industries and clients

What we're looking for

A Senior Associate or Associate ready to take a step up

Experience in cyber, privacy, technology or professional indemnity or broader insurance litigation experience

Excellent client management skills with a track record of building strong relationships with clients and claims managers

Passion for innovation, collaboration, and making a real impact
