Associate - Asset Management & Investment Funds

The role

Walkers is seeking an Associate with 3-5 years of PQE in Asset Management & Investment Funds to join their Dublin office. This role involves advising on Irish domiciled investment funds and management companies, as well as drafting and negotiating relevant documentation for a global and Irish client base.

What you'll do

• Assist with the provision of advice on the structuring and establishment of Irish domiciled investment funds
• Provide on-going advice to Irish funds authorised as UCITS, RIAIFs, ELTIFs and QIAIFs
• Provide on-going advice to management companies authorised as UCITS ManCos, AIFMs, Super ManCos and Mega ManCos
• Provide on-going advice to asset managers, fund promoters, fund service providers including investment managers and advisers
• Draft and review a wide range of documentation relevant to investment funds and their managers
• Negotiate agreements with service providers
• Manage assigned matters
• Liaise with other team members and colleagues within the Irish office and globally
• Create and maintain relationships with client and industry contacts
• Assist with legal and regulatory development project management
• Assist with the preparation of client advisories and updates
• Build your industry profile through publication
