Senior Associate, Cyber

The role

Lander & Rogers is seeking a Senior Associate, Cyber with 4+ years of experience to join their Technology practice in Sydney. This role will focus on advising clients on cyber matters, including incident response and coverage issues.

What you'll do

• Manage cyber incident response matters from initial triage through to resolution, working closely with clients, insurers and technical experts
• Provide practical legal advice on cyber incident risks, privacy and data breach obligations, including regulatory and individual notifications where required
• Act as a key client contact throughout the response process, coordinating stakeholders, obtaining instructions and advising on recoveries and disputes arising from incidents
• Advising insurers on cyber coverage issues
• Acting as coverage and monitoring counsel on significant cyber incidents with day-to-day carriage of matter
• Preparing briefs for Counsel to advise if necessary
