The role
Lander & Rogers is seeking a Lawyer, Digital Economy in Melbourne with 3+ years of experience to join their Technology practice group. This role involves advising clients on complex technology and digital matters, including outsourcing, procurement, IP, data, and emerging technologies.
What you'll do
- Provide legal advice and support on outsourcing, managed services, procurement of technology solutions, cloud and SaaS service arrangements and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence
- Advise on the commercialisation and protection of intellectual property and data assets and assist with data breach responses and cyber risk matters
- Assist clients with contract tendering, procurement and negotiation processes, including providing advice on Australian Consumer Law matters
- Work directly with clients to understand their legal and commercial needs and provide practical advice
- Draft, review and analyse legal documents with precision and attention to detail
- Work closely with Partners and other members of the team on a range of complex matters
- Collaborate with team members across the practice to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
- Contribute to the development of your technical expertise, client relationships and broader commercial skills
- Participate in business development and other initiatives that support the continued growth of the practice
What we're looking for
