The role

Dentons is seeking an Associate with 3-6 years of PQE for its Finance and Projects practice in London, United Kingdom. This role focuses on complex project finance transactions, working with sponsors, lenders, investors, developers, and public sector clients.

What you'll do

Work with sponsors, lenders, investors, developers and public sector clients on high-profile projects involving commercial, regulatory and financing issues
Assess where risk best sits
Work collaboratively to reach favourable outcomes
Build good client relationships

What we're looking for

3-6 PQE

Experience advising on complex financing structures and documentation

Experience of leading aspects of transactions and supervising junior lawyers

Experience of drafting and negotiating project finance documentation

Strong understanding of underlying project structures and documentation

Proficient in project management and financial close workstreams

Able to work effectively in large, multi-disciplinary teams

Team player with effective delegation and supervision skills

Dedicated to client-centric service and strong client relationship skills

Commitment to delivering exceptional client service

Commercial and solutions focused

Willingness to learn about project finance, energy and infrastructure markets

Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills
