The role
Mills Oakley is seeking a Law Graduate or Junior Lawyer (0-2 years PQE) to join their Adelaide-based Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of employment, industrial relations, and safety matters alongside experienced practitioners.
What you'll do
- Assist on employment law and industrial relations advice
- Assist on workers compensation investigations and disputes
- Assist on workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
- Assist on discrimination, bullying and harassment matters
- Assist on enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes
- Assist on workplace health and safety advice
- Assist on employment litigation and dispute resolution
- Assist with advocacy and preparation for matters before the Fair Work Commission and courts
What we're looking for
Bachelor of Laws completed or nearing completion and eligible for admission, or up to 2 years' post-admission experience
Strong academic performance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Eagerness to build a career in workplace relations, employment and safety law
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
