Senior Associate, Employment Law

The role

McCann FitzGerald LLP is seeking a Senior Associate for its Tier 1 ranked Employment Law Group in Dublin, Ireland. This role is for an experienced employment lawyer with 5+ years of PQE, focusing on advising major domestic and international clients on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

What you'll do

• Advise on employment contracts, policies and procedures
• Advise clients on the full range of HR-related legal queries, including issues such as absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, corporate immigration, complaints of bullying and harassment, restructuring and redundancies, restrictive covenants and related litigation, mandatory retirement and termination of employment
• Advise on the conduct of investigations including in respect of protected disclosures
• Advise on labour-related matters in the context of corporate transactions
• Advise clients on the conduct of employment-related litigation before the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court and the civil courts
• Advise on transfer of undertakings
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and colleagues on areas of employment law
• Engage proactively on business development activities
