Managing Associate (Trade Mark Attorney)

The role

Lewis Silkin is seeking a Managing Associate (Trade Mark Attorney) with 7+ years of experience to join its leading IP practice in London. This role is for an experienced trade mark attorney to provide expert advice and manage client portfolios within the firm's IP360 offering.

• Build on trade mark experience and continue developing advisory skills
• Work across a broader range of IP matters, including advertising
• Run large client projects with minimal partner support
• Help colleagues enhance their understanding of technical issues
• Take a thoughtful, commercially focused approach to problem-solving
• Offer clear, practical advice
• Manage competing priorities with ease
• Work to tight deadlines
• Keep colleagues and clients appropriately updated
• Lead and/or actively manage key relationships with some clients
• Manage significant projects or cases involving a team of lawyers
• Form strong, trusted relationships with colleagues and clients
• Work collaboratively and contribute positively to the team
• Be available and approachable for supervision
• Play an active role in business development
• Help grow client relationships
• Spot new opportunities
