The role
Mills Oakley is seeking a Lawyer with 1-3 years of PQE to join their Property team in Melbourne. This role will involve acting for institutional, fund manager, and corporate clients, with a focus on supporting transactions across the property lifecycle, working alongside partners Pablo Fernandez and James Price.
What you'll do
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leasing agreements
- Handling sales and acquisitions of commercial assets
- Conducting due diligence and transaction management
- Performing general commercial property advisory work
What we're looking for
1-3 years' experience from a highly regarded property practice
Experience in commercial leasing
Experience with high value property sales and acquisitions and acting for sophisticated clients
Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
A commercially minded approach and strong attention to detail
A minimum credit average academic history from a well-respected university
