Solicitor - Pensions at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking a Solicitor to join their Pensions team in Glasgow. This role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor or an enthusiastic learner with an interest in pensions law, focusing on providing commercial advice to a diverse client base.

What you'll do

Advise trustees, employers and stakeholders on all aspects of UK pensions law
Support on scheme governance, compliance and regulatory requirements
Advise on pensions aspects of corporate transactions, restructures and funding arrangements
Assist clients with managing pension liabilities and long-term risk strategy
Draft and review scheme documentation and member communications
Support matters involving SIPP and SSAS arrangements
Work closely with colleagues in other DWF teams
Build strong, trusted client relationships through clear and pragmatic advice

What we're looking for

A qualified Solicitor with experience in pensions law or an enthusiastic learner

Strong drafting skills and excellent written communication

Commercially minded, with an interest in understanding clients’ business objectives

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Performance-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality, pragmatic legal advice

A collaborative team player with a proactive approach

Motivated to develop skills and progress within a growing national practice
