The role
Sparke Helmore is seeking a Lawyer to Associate with experience in Commercial Insurance to join their Sydney team. This role will involve defending claims and managing claim portfolios, with opportunities for skill development and progression within a leading national practice.
What you'll do
- Manage claim portfolios
- Defend claims
- Support clients in designing and implementing claims systems
- Help with strategic audits
- Review risk analysis and reserves
What we're looking for
Prior experience gained in an insurance law or litigation practice
The ability to organise and prioritise their time with proven file management skills
Plaintiff and in-house experience will be considered· nice to have
Previous experience in personal injury and CTP claims is highly regarded· nice to have
