The role
Gilbert + Tobin is seeking a Lawyer, Energy and Projects (Project Finance) with 2+ years of PQE to join their Sydney team. This role will focus on project finance transactions within the infrastructure, energy, and resources sectors, working closely with a recognised leader in project finance.
What you'll do
- Primarily involve project finance transactions in the infrastructure (PPPs, social and affordable housing and other infrastructure), energy and resources sectors
- Support the team on other financings, including acquisition financings
What we're looking for
Minimum two years post-qualification experience (PQE) or equivalent
Strong interest in project finance
Experience in finance, with exposure to project finance highly regarded
Strong analytical, negotiation and drafting skills
Commercial awareness and ability to work effectively with clients
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Direct project finance experience· nice to have
Property finance background· nice to have
General banking background· nice to have
