Solicitor, Energy & Project Finance

The role

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking a Solicitor with 2+ years of PQE to join their leading Finance team in Melbourne. This role focuses on the energy sector, advising clients on a range of high-end advisory and transactional finance matters, including project, acquisition, and corporate finance.

What you'll do

• Advise on Australia’s most complex and high-profile transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors
• Work on cutting-edge energy projects with a strong focus on renewable energy including large-scale wind, solar, battery and hydro projects
• Work on large-scale infrastructure projects spanning transport, digital technology, telecoms and natural resources
• Advise on both domestic and international projects
• Work closely with colleagues domestically, but also in the wider global network
• Gain high-end advisory and transactional experience working on a range of financing matters including significant project, acquisition and corporate finance transactions focusing on the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors
