Associate - Business Immigration at TLT

The role

TLT is seeking a Business Immigration Associate with 1-3 years of PQE to join their Employment practice group in Birmingham or Manchester. The role involves advising clients on various business immigration matters and supporting the national team.

What you'll do

Advise on a varied caseload of business immigration matters including skilled worker and global mobility visa applications
Support sponsorship compliance and right to work audits
Support clients with immigration queries
Provide immigration support on corporate transactions
Collaborate with Partners
Work closely with the wider national Employment team
Build relationships with new clients and existing clients of the firm
Develop your skills, knowledge and business immigration expertise
Contribute to business development activity

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered)

1-3 years PQE in business immigration

Experience gained from a specialist immigration team or wider employment team

Forward thinking with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines

Commercially aware with some exposure to business development

Ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships

Able to develop a deep understanding of client business needs

Able to act in the best interest of the firm and the client

Able to contribute to a collaborative culture

Ambition to assist in the development of junior team members

Experience across a mix of business immigration, personal immigration and employment matters with a genuine interest in specialising in Business Immigration· nice to have
