The role
Wilson Sonsini seeks a New York-based Employment & Trade Secret Litigation Associate with 2 years of experience to join its dynamic practice group. This role focuses on management-side employment law litigation and counseling, advising innovative clients across various industries.
What you'll do
- Work on bet-the-company litigation
- Work on internal investigations
- Advise on spin-out mergers
- Provide day-to-day advice to clients on various aspects of employment law (e.g., terminations, leaves of absence, reductions in force, policy review and creation)
- Advise on employment mobility issues (trade secrets, non-competes, and employee solicitation)
- Advise clients on employment-related matters in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
What we're looking for
2 years of experience exclusively in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
Experience on several employment litigation cases
Experience providing day-to-day advice to clients on various aspects of employment law
Experience with employment mobility issues (trade secrets, non-competes, and employee solicitation)
Experience advising clients on employment-related matters in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
Member of the New York Bar
Resident and physically present in our New York office
Excellent academic credentials
