Associate - Insurance

The role

Kennedys is seeking an Associate - Insurance lawyer with 3-4 years of experience to join their Dubai office. The role focuses on handling a broad range of contentious and advisory insurance matters.

What you'll do

• Advise insurers, reinsurers and corporate clients on a wide range of insurance and reinsurance disputes
• Manage claims from inception through to resolution, including litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
• Draft legal advice, court pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation
• Support partners on complex, cross-border matters across the Middle East and wider international markets
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and commercially focused legal advice
• Participate in business development activities, client training and networking initiatives
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers where appropriate
