Legal consultant (interim) – 5+ PQE - Commercial - UAE

The role

A&O Shearman is seeking an interim Legal Consultant with 5+ years of PQE in Energy and Infrastructure to join their Peerpoint platform in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is for experienced lawyers looking for high-impact interim consulting assignments within a leading global law firm.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including joint venture agreements, distribution arrangements, and shareholder agreements
• Advise clients on complex corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters
• Manage legal risks
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Support contract management
• Collaborate with stakeholders
• Resolve disputes
• Enforce contracts
• Provide intellectual property support
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including supply, procurement, service, joint ventures and partnership agreements for major projects, tenders and transactions
• Advise on a wide range of procurement-related contracts and agreements
• Support overall business businesses
• Mitigate legal risks associated with procurement activities
• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters, including contract negotiation, drafting, and review, with a focus on defence procurement, supply chain agreements, and regulatory compliance
• Support business operations
• Ensure adherence to UAE laws and international standards
