Private Equity Debt Finance - Junior Associate at Goodwin

The role

Goodwin is seeking a Junior Associate for their Debt Finance group in Silicon Valley. This role is for lawyers with experience in private equity debt finance, specifically representing sponsors, banks, and lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings.

What you'll do

Represent private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth
Work with credit agreements and commitment papers
Draft and negotiate related collateral agreements and deliverables

What we're looking for

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth

Experience working with credit agreements and commitment papers

Experience drafting and negotiating related collateral agreements and deliverables

Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
