The role
Goodwin is seeking a junior associate for its Private Equity Debt Finance practice in Washington D.C. This role is ideal for an attorney with experience in representing sponsors, banks, or lenders in various financing transactions.
What we're looking for
Outstanding academic credentials
Comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth
Experience working with credit agreements and commitment papers
Experience drafting and negotiating collateral agreements and deliverables
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
