The role
Sparke Helmore is seeking a Lawyer to Associate with 1-5 years of experience for their Litigation practice in Brisbane. This role will focus on complex litigated claims within the insurance and construction industries, working with partner Kiley Hodges.
What you'll do
- Advise on front end contract and risk management
- Handle back end disputes such as payment claims, adjudications, contract disputes and defect claims
- Handle construction, property, contract works, ISR, D&O, policy coverage, professional indemnity and complex personal injury claims
What we're looking for
1 – 5 years' experience from a well-regarded law firm
Experience in dispute resolution
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and negotiation skills
Excellent organisational ability
Experience from a construction law practice· nice to have
Experience from a defendant insurance practice working on general liability and professional indemnity claims· nice to have
