Solicitor, Class Actions and Commercial Litigation

The role

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking a Solicitor with 2+ years of experience to join their Class Actions and Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne, Australia. This role is for an individual looking to work on demanding litigation matters and contribute to business development within a leading global law firm.

What you'll do

• Work closely with leading partners Damian Grave and Matthew Eglezos, as well as other leading partners and lawyers across the local, national and global group
• Undertake a range of work that supports national and international clients, with class action matters and commercial litigation, including commercial and corporate disputes and contentious regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
• Contribute to an excellent client service
• Handle files
• Identify issues and proactively providing solutions
• Play an important role in projects to further develop business opportunities with existing and new clients
• Be a key member of a highly motivated and innovative team
• Work with colleagues in our interstate and international offices
