The role
Piper Alderman is seeking a Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience in Litigation to join their Sydney office. This role will focus on complex class action litigation, including shareholder, consumer, and product liability actions in superior courts.
What we're looking for
2-4 years post admission legal experience
Experience in class action or complex commercial litigation is highly regarded
Experience in litigation in the Federal Court or superior state courts is advantageous
An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients
Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at times working to tight deadlines
Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents, affidavits, expert evidence, and managing discovery in large-scale litigation
A high level of attention to detail
A team player mentality, with a supportive and collaborative working style
A self-motivated and “can-do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
Associateships with the Federal Court or state Supreme Courts· nice to have
Trial experience is a plus· nice to have
