Projects & Construction (Front-End) - Lawyer/Associate at Mills Oakley

The role

Mills Oakley is seeking a Lawyer/Associate with 2-3 years of PQE to join their Sydney Projects & Construction team. This front-end focused role will involve working on transactional construction matters for developer clients, directly supporting a senior Partner and other lawyers in the group.

What you'll do

Assist with drafting and negotiating construction agreements
Support procurement processes and project delivery models
Provide advice on contract administration, risk allocation and compliance
Work closely with other practitioners in the group on major infrastructure and development matters
Prepare research, advice notes and project documentation

What we're looking for

2-3 years experience from a mid or top-tier projects and construction practice group

Ideally experience in front-end work

Experience from in-house roles will also be considered

Solid drafting skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and client service skills
