Solicitor - EL/PL or Disease at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking a Solicitor to join their Litigation practice in Manchester, specializing in Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), or Disease claims. This role is suitable for qualified Solicitors or NQ Solicitors with relevant experience.

What you'll do

Handle your own caseload, whilst also providing some support to more senior team members
Draft court documents
Attend court hearings
Work to court deadlines
Conduct liability investigations
Gather evidence
Prepare advice to clients
Identify medical experts and prepare instructions
Review medical records and other case related documents
Provide the highest level of client care at all times

What we're looking for

A qualified Solicitor or equivalent

Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a litigated, defendant Casualty EL/PL case load

The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data

Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates with a disease experience would be advantageous· nice to have
