Real Estate Associate

The role

Baker McKenzie is seeking a junior Real Estate Associate with 0-2 years of experience to join their London team. This role focuses on advising domestic and overseas investors on UK real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, development, and landlord/tenant matters within a top-tier international law firm.

What you'll do

• Support domestic and overseas investors on UK real estate acquisitions, disposals and asset management matters as well as development work which will include asset and corporate vehicle transactions
• Act on major landlord and tenant work for both investors and occupiers
• Work closely with colleagues in Banking, Corporate, Tax and other specialist teams on complex, multi-disciplinary transactions
• Assist on the real estate aspects of real estate finance matters and corporate and M&A transactions
• Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, sectors and commercial drivers in order to provide practical, relevant advice
• Build strong internal and external relationships and contribute to an outstanding client experience
• Participate in business development, know-how and profile-raising initiatives across the practice
• Take an active role in a collaborative team culture that values knowledge sharing, development and excellence
