Senior Associate - Corporate - M&A

The role

K&L Gates is seeking a Senior Associate for its Corporate M&A practice in Sydney, Australia. This role is for an experienced lawyer with 5+ years of PQE, who will advise on a range of M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, working closely with partners Dan Atkin and Simon Leslie.

What you'll do

• Advise founders, high-growth companies, investors and venture capital funds on M&A, private equity, venture capital and growth capital transactions
• Take a leading role on matters and work directly with clients
• Manage key transaction workstreams and help drive matters through to completion
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
• Participate in business development and client relationship activities
• Work with lawyers across our global network, including on cross-border matters
