Associate/Senior Associate - Construction Disputes, Government and Private-sector - Sydney

The role

HWLE Lawyers is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for its Commonwealth Government practice in Sydney, Australia. This role is for a lawyer with 4+ years of experience in construction disputes who will work closely with partner Alex Ottaway to advise government and private-sector clients.

What you'll do

• Advise government and private-sector clients on construction disputes
• Work closely with the Partner, Alex Ottaway
• Advise on construction disputes, involving complex engineering, factual and legal issues
• Provide direct client access
• Work closely with Alex Ottaway and other fee-earners
• Provide supportive training and mentoring
• Advise top-tier clients on liability, strategy and risk management
• Analyse information and provide concise, pragmatic and adaptable legal advice
• Prepare and deliver client presentations
