The role
BCLP is seeking a Real Estate Finance Senior Associate to join their Finance and Real Estate practice group in London. This role is for an experienced lawyer who will lead on complex, high-value real estate finance transactions for a range of clients.
What you'll do
- Lead on Real Estate Finance deals and CRE Structured Debt deals for a broad range of assets for a wide range of both lender and sponsor clients
- Draft finance documents including complex facility agreements, fee letters, syndication letters, mezzanine documentation, priority arrangements and intercreditor agreements
- Understand how to finance the full range of real estate assets ranging from offices, residential and retail to hotels and logistics and the full range of financing tools from vanilla investment work to structured debt and large scale developments
- Manage deal teams including junior associates, trainees and paralegals both from within Real Estate Finance and throughout the firm in the UK and globally
- Develop and deepen client relationships, for clients ranging from banks, investment banks, private equity funds, alternative investors, developers property companies to our annuity clients
- Take a lead role in client teams both developing the client relationship and managing the BCLP client service delivery
- Get involved in our sector and specialist experience teams to continue to develop your own expertise and share knowledge with colleagues
- Support the Partners and other senior team members in with the supervision and development of more junior lawyers
