The role
Gadens is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of experience in Corporate Advisory, specifically focusing on M&A and Financial Services Regulation in Melbourne. This role is for an experienced lawyer to advise clients on complex regulatory matters within the financial services sector.
What you'll do
Advise clients on a diverse range of complex and strategically important matters
Support clients through evolving regulatory requirements while helping them achieve their commercial objectives
Provide financial services regulatory advice
Advise on funds establishment, structuring and governance
Handle Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and Australian Credit Licence (ACL) matters
Draft product disclosure statements and other offer documentation
Advise on investment management and commercial agreements
Advise on corporate transactions involving financial services businesses
Provide AML/CTF regulatory advice and compliance assistance, including AML/CTF program development, independent evaluations, relief applications and training
Advise on payment system regulation and compliance, including payment facilitation, stored value facilities and other payment products
Provide digital assets regulation, tokenisation and blockchain advice and product offerings
Mentor junior lawyers and support staff
What we're looking for
