The role
An Associate with 2-4 years of experience is sought by Gadens in Melbourne to join their Corporate Advisory team. This role focuses on Financial Services Regulation and Funds Management, involving a broad range of matters for financial institutions and fund managers.
What you'll do
Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of matters for financial institutions, fund managers, responsible entities, investment businesses, fintechs and payment service providers
Provide financial services regulatory advice
Assist with funds establishment, structuring and governance
Handle Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and Australian Credit Licence (ACL) matters
Draft product disclosure statements and other offer documentation
Manage investment management and commercial agreements
Support corporate transactions involving financial services businesses
Provide AML/CTF regulatory advice and compliance assistance
Advise on payment system regulation and compliance
Provide digital assets regulation, tokenisation and blockchain advice and product offerings
What we're looking for
