What you'll do

Provide technical legal expertise
Build on current knowledge and proactively look to improve advising skills
Analyse legal information to solve problems
Formulate arguments or strategy relevant to clients’ needs

Provide regular and appropriate updates to stakeholders
Proactively develop positive working relationships with colleagues

Have an awareness of the firm’s goals and clients
Have an appropriate level of involvement in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and prospects

What we're looking for

8+ years of post-qualification experience in an Employment team

Deep technical knowledge of most employment law areas

Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable taking responsibility for work output

Comfortable working autonomously

Comfortable dealing directly with clients

Ambitious, proactive, curious, commercial, responsive attitude

Experience acting for employer clients on both general advisory and employment litigation work is preferred

Dual qualified· nice to have

Experience in Employment Laws in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland· nice to have

Experience supervising junior lawyers· nice to have

Examples of marketing and business development initiatives they have been involved with· nice to have
