Lawyer or Associate - Disputes at MinterEllison

The role

MinterEllison is seeking a Lawyer or Associate - Disputes with 3-8 years of PQE to join their Construction, Infrastructure, Projects team in Sydney. This role focuses on dispute resolution within major projects, offering the chance to work with leading partners and top-tier clients.

What you'll do

Advising on real-time contract administration issues
Advising on security of payment disputes
Advising on building regulation and compliance
Advising on large-scale litigation and arbitration proceedings
Representing top tier contractors and principals in respect of litigation, arbitration, and adjudication proceedings
Managing disputes through the life of the project
Having carriage of matters
Engaging with clients

What we're looking for

Lawyers with a minimum 3-8 years PQE

Strong dispute resolution experience in the projects, infrastructure and construction industry

Ability to manage strong client relationships and complex disputes with minimal supervision

Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to junior lawyers

A commercial approach to all matters

Superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail

The ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
