Senior Associate

The role

DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Associate with 4+ years of PQE in Employment law to join their London office. This role will involve advising clients on a broad spectrum of complex employment issues and claims across the UK and internationally.

What you'll do

• Advise on Global Restructuring Projects
• Advise on Employee Relations
• Advise on Issues around Discrimination and Whistleblowing
• Advise on Termination of Employment
• Advise on Data Protection
• Advise on Outsourcing projects and corporate transactions
• Handle claims in the Employment Tribunal, High Court, and County Court
• Advise on Protection of Confidentiality and other business interests
• Manage Employment Tribunal claims through to hearing stage
• Deliver tailored training for clients
• Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
• Develop and maintain a strong internal and external professional network
• Communicate effectively and collaborate positively with clients, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to business development initiatives
• Support the achievement of team and departmental objectives
• Lead matters or workstreams
• Take ownership of key deliverables
• Report to the partner lead
• Support the development of junior team members
• Understand the financial aspects of legal practice
• Contribute to the delivery of profitable, high quality client work
• Deliver a consistently high standard of service
• Respond effectively and professionally to the needs of internal and external clients
• Build trust and credibility through inclusive behaviours
