Associate - Projects & Construction - (FTC)

The role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for a Senior Associate to join Clyde & Co's Projects & Construction team in London. The role focuses on transactional construction and projects work for major infrastructure, energy, and development projects.

What you'll do

• Advise on and draft a broad range of transactional construction documentation, including Building contracts (JCT, NEC and bespoke forms), EPC contracts (including FIDIC), Professional appointments and collateral warranties, Framework agreements and related project documentation
• Support on the construction aspects of project financings and corporate transactions
• Advise on procurement strategies and risk allocation
• Negotiate construction documentation on behalf of employers, developers, contractors and funders
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across real estate, energy, projects finance and corporate teams
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, where appropriate
• Contribute to client relationship development and business development initiatives
