Employment Lawyer at Gilbert + Tobin

The role

Gilbert + Tobin is seeking an Employment Lawyer with 3+ years of PQE to join their Sydney office. This role will involve advising on a broad range of complex employment litigation and advisory matters within the firm's leading Employment group.

What you'll do

Advise on employment litigation across the Fair Work Commission, tribunals and courts
Advise on workplace investigations and whistleblower matters
Advise on employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions
Advise on employment contracts, policies and industrial relations matters
Advise on workplace change, performance management and termination matters
Advise on workplace health and safety investigations and prosecutions

What we're looking for

Three or more years' post-qualification experience in employment or workplace law

Advisory and litigation experience

Ability to write clear and effective advice

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-reasoned decisions

The ability to build effective client relationships

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
