Property Lawyer (3-5 PQE) at Arnold Bloch Leibler

The role

Arnold Bloch Leibler is seeking a Property Lawyer with 3-5 years of experience to join their Sydney-based Real Estate practice. This role involves working on sophisticated property and development matters for a range of clients, with opportunities for client interaction and responsibility.

What you'll do

Draft, review and negotiate contracts for sale, option agreements, development agreements, leases and other transaction documents
Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare due diligence reports
Advise clients on the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposal of commercial property assets
Manage matters through the full transaction lifecycle, from initial structuring and due diligence through to negotiation, completion and post-completion implementation
Work directly with clients and other advisers to deliver practical, commercially focused outcomes
Participate in, and increasingly take the lead in, negotiations with counterparties and their advisers

What we're looking for

3-5 years of post-admission experience in private practice

Experience across a broad range of commercial property transactions

Ability to draft, review and negotiate contracts for sale, option agreements, development agreements, leases and other transaction documents

Experience conducting due diligence investigations and preparing due diligence reports

Ability to advise clients on acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposal of commercial property assets

Experience managing matters through the full transaction lifecycle

Ability to work directly with clients and other advisers

Ability to participate in and take the lead in negotiations with counterparties and their advisers

Genuine passion for property and development law

Excellent analytical skills

Strong commercial judgement

Ability to provide practical, strategic advice

Ability to assume carriage of matters appropriate to your level of experience

Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills

Proactive, collaborative and outcome-focused approach to work

Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
