The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Technology Transactions (IT) Associate with 6+ years of experience to join their Technology practice in Austin, Palo Alto, or San Francisco. This role focuses on intellectual property and commercial transactions for technology companies.
What you'll do
- Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of intellectual property and commercial transactions, including license, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements
- Work on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, financings, and other multidisciplinary transactions
What we're looking for
6+ years of experience
Experience in intellectual property transactions
Strong interest in a career focused on intellectual property and commercial transactions
Superior academic credentials
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Technical or science background· nice to have
