The role
Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a mid-level Complex Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join their litigation practice group. This role focuses on defending clients in high-stakes complex litigation, with an emphasis on product liability and commercial matters in the aviation and transportation sectors.
What we're looking for
4-6 years of experience
Excellent writing skills demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court or publication
Experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, working with experts, and trial
Superior academic credentials
Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice
Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, for example contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues
Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred· nice to have
Strong interest in the field of aviation· nice to have
Technical background in aerospace or mechanical engineering, computer science, or life sciences· nice to have
