The role

DWF is seeking a Solicitor with 3-5 years of PQE to join their Insurance practice in Birmingham. This role focuses on handling property damage claims, working within the litigation team to support senior members and manage an independent caseload.

What you'll do

Assist senior members of the team with significant and complex property damage claims
Handle your own caseload of property claims to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients
Ensure high levels of service delivery, both internally and externally
Maintain management information under the terms of the client service level agreement

What we're looking for

3-5 years of PQE

Experience handling insurance backed property damage claims

Prior experience handling a litigated insurance property related caseload

Experience in first party property damage, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries

Technical expertise and a strong interest in Commercial Insurance matters generally

A proven track record of delivering results within strict deadlines and timeframes

The ability to communicate and manage often complex issues for both internal and external stakeholders· nice to have

A self-motivated individual who can also effectively coach and develop others within the team· nice to have
