Senior Associate/Managing Senior Associate - TMT

The role

Pinsent Masons is seeking a Senior Associate or Managing Senior Associate with 4+ or 7+ PQE respectively to join their market-leading Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice in London or Manchester. This role is for an ambitious and commercially focused lawyer to advise major clients on complex technology, digital transformation, and telecommunications projects.

What you'll do

• Advise on complex technology procurements, outsourcing arrangements and managed service agreements
• Lead negotiations relating to software development, software licensing, SaaS, cloud computing and technology implementation projects
• Support major digital transformation and business change programmes across a range of sectors
• Advise clients on telecommunications, digital infrastructure and connectivity projects, including next-generation technology initiatives
• Provide strategic advice on the legal and commercial implications of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, data-driven services and digital platforms
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, service arrangements and technology contracts
• Manage workstreams on large, multi-jurisdictional projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Supervise and develop junior lawyers and support their technical and professional growth
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on strategic technology matters
• Support business development initiatives, client presentations, thought leadership and market engagement activities
