The role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking a Lawyer - Workers' Compensation with 3+ years of PQE to join their Insurance practice group in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. This role focuses on supporting the Statutory Insurance NSW - Workers' Compensation team, which acts for defendant employers and insurers.

What we're looking for

Minimum of three years’ post-admission experience in personal injury claims, specifically Workers' Compensation for employers/insurers

Experience working in the personal injury space, specifically Workers' Compensation for employers/insurers

Clear, concise legal writing skills

Strong attention to detail

A strong commitment to client service

Ability to mentor and supervise junior members of the team

Initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively

Experience on the defendant side is ideal· nice to have
