Associate/Senior Associate - Restructuring & Insolvency at Mills & Reeve

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate for their Restructuring & Insolvency practice group in London. This role is for a lawyer with 3+ years of PQE who will focus on non-contentious advisory and transactional work within the firm's esteemed national team.

What you'll do

Undertake predominantly non-contentious advisory and transactional work linked into corporate, finance and real estate teams
Advise all stakeholders in distressed situations including lenders, investors, corporates, directors and individuals, public bodies
Act for insolvency practitioners
Work on a wide range of domestic and international transactions
Help build the practice by getting into the market

What we're looking for

At least 3 years PQE

Experience gained in a firm renowned for high-quality restructuring and insolvency work

Experience of running transactional and other work as the day-to-day fee earner

Technically strong

Excellent drafting and verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to understand the environment that clients work in and to deliver advice

Ability to assimilate a lot of information quickly and focus on the key issues

Good time and file management skills

Dedicated to providing outstanding client service

Able to work well under pressure

Enthusiasm to work as part of a team

Ambitious to progress· nice to have

Willingness to initiate and participate in marketing and business development activities· nice to have
