The role
Orrick is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, and Data Innovation Litigation Counsel with 12+ years of experience to join their Technology practice in San Francisco. This senior role will focus on complex civil litigation, including class actions, within the cyber, data, and privacy space.
What you'll do
- Work on sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across a range of clients
- Support a busy team with all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including working directly with clients
- Help manage all aspects of discovery
- Be actively involved in deposition and hearing preparation
- Draft motions
- Prepare mediation statements
- Perform other common civil litigation tasks
What we're looking for
12+ years of litigation experience
Strong foundation of complex civil litigation experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Strong academic credentials
Excellent legal research abilities
Superb writing and oral communication skills
Membership to the State Bar of the desired office is required
Specific cyber/data/privacy litigation experience is highly valued· nice to have
