The role

Orrick is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, and Data Innovation Litigation Associate with 5+ years of PQE to join their Technology practice group in San Francisco. This role will focus on sophisticated and innovative litigation, including class actions, within the cyber, data, and privacy space.

What you'll do

Support a busy team with all aspects of complex disputes and litigation
Work directly with clients
Manage all aspects of discovery
Actively involved in deposition and hearing preparation
Actively involved in motion drafting
Actively involved in mediation statements
Engage in other common civil litigation tasks

What we're looking for

5+ years of litigation experience

Strong foundation of complex civil litigation experience

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Team player

Strong academic credentials

Excellent legal research abilities

Superb writing and oral communication skills

Membership to the State Bar of the desired office

Specific cyber/data/privacy litigation experience is highly valued· nice to have
